At THEGATHER, everything begins with a love of knitwear.

For us, knitwear has always held memory and meaning. It’s the familiar jumper you reach for on slow Sundays, the warmth that reminds you of home, the piece you never quite want to take off.

We felt something was missing from the high street. So much of what we buy today is made from plastics, produced far away, and designed to be replaced too soon. Somewhere along the way, we stopped valuing what we own. With manufacturing pushed so far from home, we’ve lost that connection to the people and processes behind our clothes.

THEGATHER is my way of bringing that value back. Each piece is made slowly and intentionally, using 100% natural materials sourced from Scotland, and crafted in small runs in Portugal. We put a lot of care into finding the right partners, and our factory is SEDEX and RWS certified, which means the wool is responsibly sourced and the people behind each knit are treated fairly.

Every piece is designed to be worn, loved, and lived in, not just for a season but for years to come. I hope our knits become part of people’s everyday stories, something to wrap up in time and time again.

At its heart, THEGATHER is about slowing down, reconnecting, and remembering the value of things made with care.
