Did you know that wool is considered to have self-cleaning properties? This is thanks to its natural oils that repel dirt and dust. So, our advice is to air your knit to avoid unnecessary washing!
However, when your knit does eventually need a wash, here are our tips:
Hand wash cold (and be gentle treat it with the same care you’d give your hair).
Use an eco-friendly wool/cashmere safe detergent and fabric softener.
Lie your knit flat to dry (resist hanging it up to maintain its fit).
Keep away from direct sunlight while drying.
